The study area Advanced Physics is informed by the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). The Edexcel International A’Level Physics is informed by Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
The course of study intended to prepare students for the Advanced Level Matriculation Examination in Physics takes as assumed knowledge SEC Physics Paper 2A content. Students who have not attained such qualification will be provided with additional help.
Advanced Physics will cover all of the subject’s core syllabus including: Physical Quantities, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Materials, Electric Currents, Fields, Vibrations and Waves, Nuclear, atomic, quantum theory and particle physics, and Data analysis and experimental physics.
